Cybercommando

Cyber Commando (サイバー・コマンド) is a competitive 3-D shooter sequel to the popular game title, Cyber Sled, which takes place in a futuristic metropolis. The player controls a tank called "VEHICLE" to stop the A.I. computer which took control of the space colony. The game builds upon the well-received competitive features from the previous title and pushed the package on the quality by using the realistic 3-D graphics. The single player mode also saw improvements with greater varieties seen in the story, maps, enemy tanks, among other varieties. The game was released on 1994 for the arcades in Japan-only[1].

Timeline[]

In 2098 AD, G.A.L.O.F. Corporation completed the construction of mankind's first Space Colony [Island Three], "Uranus." However that same year, the rebels took arms to occupy Uranus. With the threat of the rebels' occupation of Uranus and the impact being directed, the UGSF [then United Government Space Force] deployed their Special Attack Team, Cyber Commando, to stop the Uranus Rebellion by destroying Rama, a security computer within the colony. Within a year, Uranus was liberated from the rebels and later abandoned, which puts an end to the Uranus Rebellion[1].
